Would any of you like to come to Salem Keizer to present a topic that would inspire our teachers to do great things? It would be a great way for you to practice your own presentations in a small arena or get your name out there as a tallented and valuable professional!
On June 17th - Salem Keizer is having a 1 day (4 session) Teacher workshop day.
There are four sessions - each is 90 minutes
You could present one topic multiple times or up to four different topics (who is crazy enough to do that?)
If you present the same topic more than once you get paid for 4 hours of prep and 1.5 for each time you present it.
If you present different topics then you are paid the prep and presentation time for each topic. (Clear as mud? Send me your questions)
Lunch is included for presenters. The four sessions are (1) 8:15 (2) 9:55 (3) 12:15 (4)1:55 (lunch is at 11:25).
Lunch will be a Tom Hewitt rendition of the teacher perspective of "Smarty Pants." Be prepared to laugh! He will be great!!!

As an outside presentor I think the money would be a little different... We would come up with a contract that is a little different than the above... Talk with me if you have ideas that you think would be helpful!
Deadline for applications are April 1st... Talk with you next week. Call me if you have questions.
